In brief, here is the lowdown on the Nintendo DSi:
Size/Weight: The new model is lighter, although similar in size to the DS Lite.
Screen Size: The screen is slightly bigger, but comparable in brightness, than the previous model.
Colours: The DSi is available in black, white, red, metallic blue and light blue.
Exterior: The glossy finish has gone, the DSi has a matte exterior now.
Hardware: The DSi comes equipped with two 0.3 megapixel cameras, one on the outside and one next to the mic. You can also record your voice via the mic as the device has some internal memory. These extra will add a whole new functionality to games – we just have to wait and see what that is!
Software Downloads: The biggest new feature of the DSi is the ability to download new content via the internet. Some will be free, and others will cost you Nintendo points. Oh did we mention you can surf the internet?
