Good old Mario. He’e been with Nintendo right from the start and although I am not quite sure exactly how old he is – he’s a nimble little fella isn’t he?
His popularity has spewed a host of games across the Nintendo consoles and the DS Lite is no different. Whether it’s the mushroom head-bouncing Super Mario Bros you prefer or the need for speed (and fun) in Mario Kart DS – there is a Mario game for you. Not forgetting Mario’s collaboration with Sonic which was top of the gaming charts for the whole of the summer.
Below we’ve rounded up all the Mario DS Lite games we could find. Click on the one you want for more information:

What a success High School Musical has been? It’s like a modern day Grease (well kind of). That success has spread on to the consoles with all singing-all dancing games which your kids (or go on admit, yourself) will love to play on.
This year sees the third installment on the DS of the popular series with High School Musical 3: Senior Year. (Wahoo! They’re growing up!) As always there are catchy songs and dance moves for the player to enjoy, as well as scenes from the film dispersed throughout.
Click on the game below for more info, and for the hardcore fan there are a couple of High School Musical DS Lite Cases too!
Apart from being musical, the game is more of an interactive Yearbook. In between the singing and dancing, there are quizzes to test the players HSM3 knowledge and to see what character they are most like. Not an adult’s cup of tea, but if your 12 year old is into High School Musical – they will love this game.
Here are a few additional ideas…

Blimey, there’s stressful jobs and then there is the job of air traffic controller.
This job goes beyond the realms of stressful and is quite possibly one of the (mentally) toughest jobs out there. Just think, one mistake and you could have a major disaster on your hands…Yikes!
Love him or hate him, there is no doubt that Jamie Oliver is one heck of a popular TV chef. His upcoming DS game ‘ What’s Cooking? With Jamie Oliver’ looks certain to be a hit if the success of his books and TV shows are anything to go by.
If you’ve ever wanted to drive at crazy speeds whist behind the sleek powerful machine that is the DS, then your wish is about to come true. TrackMania DS has been confirmed for release on the 14th of November 2008.
After all the fuss about ‘The Force Unleashed’ it could well be that …..there is another.
Hopefully any Star Wars fans out there will recognize my poor attempt at a geeky film reference, but if rumours are to be believed then DS owning Star Wars fans be in for a treat.
If you thought the Eighties provided some of the greatest music of all time then the KORG DS-10 could be for you, take a look at this miniature Jean Michel Jarre……
With the announcement of the DSi grabbing all the headlines it was easy to forget that there was plenty more impressive DS related news announced at Nintendo’s Fall/Autumn Japanese conference.
A video was unleashed which revealed action from several upcoming DS titles all of which are published by the fair hand of Nintendo themselves!
If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen… and into the garden, that’s the message coming from ‘Cooking Mama’ creators Taito as details emerge about their upcoming title ‘Gardening Mama’.
Star Wars : The Force Unleashed has proved to be a massive hit with the gaming public.
It has topped the chart of every platform it has been made for and despite some lukewarm reviews it has flown out the shops like a Tie fighter in a hurry.
It has current sold 1.5 million copies across all consoles and is now holds the honour of being the most successful Star Wars game ever made.
